Aaron Stanush

My quest began at an early age.

First, it was challenging the conviction of my elders to color within the lines. Subsequent educators would chastise me for getting ink on my hands while sketching instead of listening. Several years into my journey, I came upon a new, intimidating giant: MS Paint. Looking behind me, I saw fragments charcoal, pastels and watercolor laying conquered in my wake and I knew that I must march forward.

I didn’t turn back that day, and now I reside in a digital labyrinth, surely to last the rest of my days. Today I find myself punishing lines of CSS, clashing with opacity masks and bending Bézier curves to my will.

I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with an advertising B.A., with a focus in interactive/new media.
