Host your site on our dedicated server
We maintain a dedicated server at EV1 Servers’ data center in Houston, Texas. In plain English, we lease our very own server in a high-tech, heavily monitored facility.
EV1 Servers maintains the most sophisticated network operating center in the world. Their data centers feature the highest security measures, 24-hour manned monitoring, and multiple layers of redundancy connecting 30,000 servers to more than 25 Gigabits of Internet bandwidth.

Hosting and maintenance plans on our dedicated server cost between $25–200 per month depending on bandwidth needs, server load, and the amount of upkeep required for your site. Maintenance includes:
- daily backups of your data (see below)
- upgrading all web software installed on you site
- applying security patches as they are released
- one-call, no-hold tech support
Large-scale, support-intensive websites are subject to additional hosting fees.
We maintain regular backups of your data
- Our server performs daily backups to its second hard drive, protecting your data against accidental loss or hard drive failure
- For added protection against catestrophic failure, we perform weekly, offsite backups to our secondary host at DreamHost
No downtime due to power failure
- EV1’s municipal power service level is Critical Customer, similar to Hospital Service level
- For backup power, EV1 maintains three 16-cylinder, 3,000 horsepower Cummins Marine generators, each of which is tested weekly
