Weekly Watercooler: Bowling Edition

4K news this week:

  • This week, we say “see you around” to Diana Dupuis. Diana has been an instrumental part of Four Kitchens for three years now. We love Diana, and she loves us; but at this time, she has decided to move on to bigger and better things. We wish her the best as she embarks on a new journey in her professional life.
  • In order to send off Diana in style, we took the team bowling. Diana brought her own ball, of course (because she’s a pro). You can look at the picture set on Flickr here.

Links around the watercooler:

  • Do you bike? Do you have a dog or cat? You might like these dog / cat racks for your wheels.
  • Are you shopping for a smartphone? Entertainment Weekly included a smartphone in their October 5th print edition of their magazine.
  • When you get that smartphone, you could probably use some new wallpapers for it. Poolga posted a couple of cool wallpapers for iPhones / iPads. Here’s a Mario themed one, and a Zelda one.
  • Business Insider posted a great slide deck about “The State of The Internet.” Turns out only 1/3 of the Global population has access to the Internet.
  • If you’re in Git as much as we are, you should stop everything you’re doing and look at this Tumblr. LOLs will ensue.
