It’s been a while since Four Kitchens has had a physical headquarters, but our historical roots and our hearts will always be in Austin, Texas. About half of our Web Chefs make their homes and home offices in Austin
Annually, the Austin Web Chefs have a tradition of participating in Amplify Austin Day led by I Live Here I Give Here. Todd, our CEO and co-founder, is a Board Member of I Live Here, I Give Here Board and chairs the Technology Committee there. Amplify Austin Day is an annual day of giving. The 24-hour period provides an easy and fun way the entire community to give together while helping local nonprofits such as Austin Humane Society, Texas Book Festival, and Art From the Streets. Over the past six years, Amplify Austin has raised over $45M for hundreds of local organizations. On this year’s Amplify Austin Day, Austinites raised $11.2 million and benefited 746 nonprofits
While Austin based Web Chefs have been participating in the one day fundraising bonanza for years, Four Kitchens instituted a company match for individual donations for the first time this year. The company match allowed Four Kitchens to nearly double the fundraising efforts of its individual employees. And because we encourage our alumni and friends to give as well, we came in second for employee participation!
I Live Here I Give Here is a truly impactful organization, and Four Kitchens is a proud supporter of this organization and our Austin community. In a single year of giving, I Live Here I Give Here raised enough funds to provide 1.1 million meals to families in need, save 565 pets, plant 235 trees, and provide one year of legal advocacy for 295 children in the foster care system. We’re looking forward to continuing participation with I Live Here I Give Here and joining with our fellow citizens to contribute to our community
