Congratulations are in order for PRI.org for their recognition as Silver W3 Award Winner for 2018.
The W3 Awards celebrate digital excellence by honoring outstanding Websites, Web Marketing, Video, Mobile Sites/Apps & Social content created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide. In its thirteenth season, the W3 Awards received over 5,000 entries from Advertising agencies, PR Firms, Interactive Agencies, In-house creative professionals, Web Designers, Graphic Designers, and Web Enthusiasts. Entries are scored on a 100-point scale by the judges. On average, less than 10% of all entries will be selected as Gold Winners. Other outstanding entries will be Silver Winners.

As the digital landscape continues to expand and break new ground, our winners are a testament to the creative capability that makes the internet a true work of art.” said Derek Howard, the director of the AIVA. “On behalf of the over 750 members of The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, we laud the talents and dedication our winners showcased and commend all of this year’s entrants for their commitment to furthering the quality of the digital content we view.”

A round of well-deserved kudos to the PRI team: From the PRI team, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Rick Byrne and Director of Technical Project Management, Brandon Hundt contributed work that made the project a success. Senior JavaScript Engineer, Patrick Coffey, provided keen technical leadership as well as deep architectural knowledge to all facets of the project, keeping the team unblocked and motivated. Engineer, James Todd brought his Drupal and JavaScript expertise to the table, architecting and building major portions of PRI’s new API. Senior Frontend Engineer, Evan Willhite, brought his wealth of frontend knowledge to build a robust collection of elegant components in React and JavaScript. Architect, David Diers created mechanisms that will be responsible for managing PRI’s API documentation that can be used in future projects.
