Caris Hurd is the director of user experience at Four Kitchens and a geek about technology, user research, and design. She’s been making websites for fun since 1998. She is a psychologist at heart with an analytical mind and enjoys solving human problems with technology. She has over ten years of experience designing, developing, and managing large websites and complex software products.
Caris has a master’s degree in information studies from the University of Texas at Austin with an emphasis on user research and interaction design. She is currently serving on the Advisory Council at the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin, where she helps guide the future of the graduate program and mentors graduate students interested in UX or careers in technology.
